Women's health covers a wide range of clinical needs — contraception, hormonal health, intimate health, and the physical changes that come with different life stages. These are not minor matters, and they deserve proper clinical attention rather than a rushed appointment or an unreliable internet search.

NewGen Pharmacy's online women's health clinic is run by the same GPhC-registered team as our Stratford pharmacy. Every consultation is reviewed by a UK prescriber; nothing is supplied without their approval. You can order online and receive discreet next-day delivery, or collect in person from our Stratford pharmacy if you prefer to speak to someone face to face.

What our women's health clinic can help with

Our contraception range covers the most widely used prescription options: the combined pill, the mini pill, and patch, ring and injection alternatives. For unplanned situations, we also supply emergency contraception quickly and discreetly. If you want to delay your period around a holiday or event, that is something a prescriber can assess too.

For intimate health, we offer clinician-led treatment for vaginal thrush, cystitis and bacterial vaginosis — conditions that often benefit from prescription treatment rather than over-the-counter products alone. We also support women looking for prescription-strength help with unwanted facial hair, eyelash growth, and the symptoms of menopause through assessed HRT.

How our online consultation works

You answer a short confidential questionnaire about your health, your cycle, any conditions you have and anything else you take. A UK prescriber reads your answers and, if treatment is appropriate, issues a private prescription which our pharmacy dispenses. Specific medicines, brands and doses are discussed at that point — not advertised publicly — because the right choice depends on your individual health picture.

If online treatment is not suitable, we will say so clearly and suggest the right alternative, whether that is your GP, a sexual-health clinic, or one of our pharmacists in Stratford. The final decision always lies with the prescriber.

New or unexplained pelvic pain, unusual bleeding, or any symptom that has changed recently should be assessed by a GP before prescription treatment is considered online. If you have a new or complex contraceptive need, or if you are post-partum or breastfeeding, an in-person consultation is usually the better starting point.

For urgent contraceptive advice outside of our hours, NHS 111 can direct you to the nearest provider. Severe abdominal pain — particularly if you have missed a period and there is any possibility of pregnancy — should be treated as an emergency and assessed in hospital immediately.
